Nonprofit IT consulting
IT consulting for nonprofits, from someone who is one of you
My US career started in 2005 at a community energy assistance agency, and I am still their IT partner today. I help nonprofits and community organizations across the San Francisco Bay Area and California get secure, modernize and adopt AI, at a pace and budget that fits.
What I help with
Why one of you
I am not here to sell you a product. My US career began at a community energy agency in 2005. When I left for biotech, no replacement could do the job, so they brought me back as a consultant, and I have served them ever since. I fix problems at the root, give the full equipment list with no markup, and do not walk away when the budget does.
Real cases
Since 2005 with the same agencies
- Situation
- My US career began at Central Coast Energy Services in 2005. When I left for a biotech company, the agency tried several replacements, then brought me back as a consultant.
- What was done
- Consulting Head of IT for both agencies: hardened security, secured remote access, trained staff on cybersecurity and launched modern websites.
- Result
- More than twenty years later, still their IT partner through lean years and good years.
One account, one gap
- Situation
- An agency I support had one employee account phished and taken over. No genius hacker, just one click and one account where MFA was not set up right. No control stops every click.
- What was done
- Contained it the same day, cleaned it up and closed the gap for every account. I knew their budget, so I did not charge.
- Result
- The account was secured, and the CEO heard it plainly: MFA is not optional anymore.
Faster intake with document management
- Situation
- A human services nonprofit was slowed down by paper heavy intake and application processing.
- What was done
- Helped deploy a document management platform to streamline intake.
- Result
- Intake documents in one place, set up to speed up application processing.
A 50,000 square foot warehouse in one weekend
- Situation
- A growing Bay Area moving and storage company took on a 50,000 square foot warehouse and needed cameras covering the whole building inside and out, plus network, Wi-Fi and a firewall.
- What was done
- Designed and installed all of it in two days over a weekend, with the full equipment list handed over to buy directly, no markup. Later I came back to fix systems someone else had installed. They were end of life, and they were being patched over and over. I flagged it and fixed the root cause instead, because I only stand behind work I can guarantee.
- Result
- The owner was so pleased he paid more than the invoice. More than five years later, everything I installed still runs without issues.

Questions people ask
What is the free first look?
One conversation and a straight answer about where your organization stands on security, MFA and day to day IT. No cost, no commitment, no pitch. Request one here.
We already have an IT person or provider. Can you still help?
Yes. I do not replace your team. I offer another perspective, a second opinion on big decisions, and what has worked for other organizations like yours.
How much does it cost?
The first look is free. After that, price depends on scope. Projects have a fixed scope agreed up front, and ongoing leadership is monthly, so there are no surprises.
Do you work remotely or on site?
Both. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and serve organizations across California. Remote help can often start the same day, and on site work is scheduled around your team.
